Stock up on Zinc, Vitamin D and Vitamin C!

Well, it is official. Fall is here, and what a beautiful day it is today! That also means that we are entering the season for colds and flus. To stay ahead of the curve, be sure and do these things:

1. Get plenty of rest
2. Watch your stress levels
3. Keep your home temperature at or below 69 degrees. (Germs have a tougher time surviving in cooler houses)
4. Incorporate Vitamin D into your daily vitamins to keep those blood levels up! (Carlson Lemon Flavored Cod Liver Oil in a smoothie works great)
5. Take vitamin C and Zinc!
6. Get into the gym. Studies continually show that exercise helps to build a healthy immune system.

If you do catch something….
1. Rest!
2. Continue on your vitamin regimen, taking a little more of vitamin c, zinc, and cod liver oil until your bug is gone!
3. Rest!

Eat lots of beautiful green leafy veggies, and beautiful antioxidant loaded berries! And oranges! Eat the rainbow. 🙂
