ZUMBA: (60 min) Zumba is an awesome mix of cardio and salsa dancing, and is a lot of fun! It’s definitely oriented toward fitness, and it burns 1000 calories an hour! Wear your workout clothes and athletic shoes for this one. We have awesome Zumba instructors! This class is free to members. NEW TO OUR GYM? DO ZUMBA FOR JUST $4 A CLASS! JUST SHOW UP. YOGA/PILATES MIX: (60 min) Our Yoga/Pilates Mix class is a very fun class that focuses on core body strength and flexibility. Yoga isn’t only good for building strength and flexibility, but it’s also good for aligning our bodies’ energies properly so that we can be healthy. And, the concentrated focus on stretching and breathing is very, very relaxing. This class is free to members. NEW TO OUR GYM? DO YOGA FOR JUST $4 A CLASS! JUST SHOW UP. NO APPOINTMENTS NEEDED.
BODYSCULPT: (40 min) This class is a very fun class. It’s weightlifting, choreographed to music. We hit all of the major body parts with a lot of repetitions. Repeated repetitions with lighter weights have been shown in research to build lots of lean body mass; muscle, so that’s what we do! This class has limited availability, first come first serve because of equipment restrictions.
BOOT CAMP: (30 min) You voted…we listened!! Boot camp was your choice for our first morning class. A blast of cardio and strength, first thing in the morning! This class will quickly get you into really awesome shape, and it’s set to energizing music…just like our other classes! Stimulate your lymphatic system and get rid of toxins fast in this class! CARDIO KICKBOXING [NO EQUIPMENT]: We just launched a new program, we are trying it one day a week, and as it takes off we will add more! With our classes, we try and focus our group exercise on all three core components of a good exercise routine; cardiovascular training with ZUMBA, flexibility with YOGA/PILATES, and resistance (weight) training with BODYSCULPT. BOOT CAMP mixes cardiovascular with strength training for a blast of fitness.
Zumba, Yoga/Pilates, Boot Camp, and Bodysculpt are all free to members, and memberships are affordable, at only $24.95 a month. If you would like to drop in and try a ZUMBA, BOOT CAMP, or YOGA/PILATES class, you can for just $4. Drop in’s are regularly priced at $5-15 around town, so this is a bargain!
